Schedule
  • Tuesday – Saturday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.
Location Requirements
  • On‑Site Requirement: this position requires physical presence at the job location during the scheduled hours. Current residents of the property are not considered.
  • Must live within 30 miles of the property and have reliable transportation. If relocating, relocation must be completed prior to start date.
Property Information
  • 240‑unit midrise lease‑up community scheduled to open in 2024.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay: $32 to $34 per hour (range)
  • Monthly Leasing Bonuses

  • Paid sick leave accrual equivalent to 1.33 hours for every 30 hours worked (~11 days per year).

Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience in multifamily or hotel maintenance required within the last 10 years. Applicants with trades experience will receive consideration.
  • Well‑versed in the unit turn process from start to finish.
  • Experience tracking and maintaining inventory.
  • Provide your own basic hand tools – company will provide power tools.
  • Experience providing great customer service to residents and/or customers is required.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • HVAC certification preferred (only applies for properties servicing HVAC in CA / AZ).
  • CPO certification preferred (only applies for properties with pools).
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
  • Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
Role Responsibilities
  • Exemplify and exercise discretion and sound independent judgment to evaluate quality of work.
  • Abide by safety requirements at all times.
  • Safely use chemicals and equipment as part of everyday duties.
  • Maintain grounds, work and storage areas and dumpster areas daily to ensure curb appeal up to company standards.
  • Paint and clean as needed to ensure timely unit turnover.
  • Ensure lawns are mowed and trimmed and entryways, walkways and driveways are blown and free of debris.
  • Ensure equipment is serviced on a regular basis to maintain safe operations.
  • Be on‑call for emergencies or snow removal.
  • Maintain and enforce all company policies and procedures as established in the Operations Manual.
  • Clean units as needed.
