Facilities Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Level 4

Our client, a global commercial real estate and facilities management company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level 4 to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician Level 4, you will be part of the Facilities Operations and Building Maintenance Team supporting building operations, facility maintenance, and contractor/vendor services. The ideal candidate will have troubleshooting skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shrewsbury, MA (On-Site) Pay Range: 36 per hour

Perform advanced preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems, industrial equipment, and facility infrastructure. Monitor building systems including HVAC, fire alarms, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation. Review, complete, and document maintenance work orders, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems while responding to emergency maintenance situations. Coordinate and inspect work performed by outside contractors and vendors including HVAC, landscaping, plumbing, snow removal, remodeling, and cleaning services.

High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience and/or trade school training. Universal CFC Certification required; EPA Certification preferred. Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, building maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Ability to use work order systems, email, Microsoft Outlook, and basic computer applications. Ability to work overnight shifts, lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance duties.
