* THE ROLE:

** The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading maintenance operations across assigned production areas, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment, facilities, and utilities. This role provides front-line leadership to maintenance technicians and mechanics while driving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance compliance, safety performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.  The Maintenance Supervisor serves as a key partner to manufacturing operations by minimizing downtime, prioritizing maintenance resources, coordinating planned work, and ensuring the successful execution of maintenance activities.

The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.  Success in this position requires a strong commitment to employee development, safety, food safety, quality, cost management, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.  
** WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:*
* ** Safety & Compliance
*** Lead a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with all company, OSHA, environmental, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely through adherence to LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights, Electrical Safety, and other applicable procedures.
* Conduct routine safety observations, audits, inspections, and coaching conversations.
* Investigate equipment incidents, safety concerns, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
* Support Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements and ensure compliance with applicable maintenance procedures.  
** Maintenance Leadership
*** Direct and supervise maintenance technicians, mechanics, electricians, and contractors during assigned shifts.
* Coach, train, and develop maintenance employees to improve technical skills, troubleshooting capabilities, and leadership competencies.
* Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for safety, performance, attendance, workmanship, and compliance standards.
* Support staffing, scheduling, training, performance management, and employee engagement activities.
* Build a culture of ownership, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
