Shop Technician level 1 WA

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Shop Technicians are responsible for installing aftermarket parts and accessories for Jeep customers, ensuring all builds meet quality and safety standards before vehicles leave the shop. This role requires strong mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment.

• Install and modify Jeep components, including but not limited to suspension modifications, gear changes, armor install, lights and wiring, tire installs, winch/recovery gear installs, motor conversion and installs, Re-Gear a differential etc.
• Follow work instructions regarding required repairs, restorations, part replacements, and estimated job timelines.
• Perform general mileage‑interval maintenance and safety inspections.
• Use quality control methods to ensure all work is completed correctly prior to vehicle delivery.
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge related to products, installations, compatibility, and best practices.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the shop environment; escalation issues as needed.
• Work under general supervision while exercising a high level of independent judgment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years’ minimum work‑related experience or combination of education and experience; must have hands‑on mechanical expertise to include bodywork, Jeep related knowledge, and motor conversion knowledge.
• Drive train service and ring and pinion experience (preferred)
• Requires regular standing for extended periods, bending, pushing, kneeling, crouching, stooping and other repetitive motion and movement.
• Requires ability to use tools, welding equipment, vehicle lifts, compressors, and other specialized tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented work environment, while also working independently.
• Must be able to supply your own work tools.

• Requires exposure to hazardous conditions and equipment including exposure to contaminants, sounds, and noise levels.
