BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for a multifamily apartment community in Simi Valley, CA 93065. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who excels at troubleshooting maintenance issues, supervising a team, and ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations for the apartment community.

* Assign, monitor, and ensure completion of service requests and work orders in a timely manner.

* Lead and support maintenance technicians while providing training and guidance as needed.

* Perform and oversee repairs including:

* Plumbing systems

* Electrical troubleshooting and repairs

* HVAC maintenance and diagnostics

* Appliance repair

* Carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance

* Manage unit turns and ensure apartments are move-in ready.

* Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and maintain property standards.

* Ensure community grounds, amenities, and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

* Respond to resident maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.

* Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and all safety regulations.

* Participate in the on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications

* Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Maintenance Technician, or similar role within multifamily/apartment communities.

* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance.

* Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently.

* Proven leadership and team management experience.

* Excellent organizational and communication skills.

* Strong customer service mindset with a resident-focused approach.

* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

* EPA Certification preferred.

* Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
