Job Description

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for traveling daily within a one-hour radius and up to 50% out-of-state travel by car or plane as needed. This role requires some weekend work and the possibility of overtime, approximately 5% of the time. You will work autonomously, diagnosing issues and solving problems hands-on, while building trust with customers through strong communication and technical expertise.

A valid driver's license is necessary to visit multiple customer sites daily.

+ Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Preventive maintenance, repair, and cleanroom test procedure skills.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Entry-level electromechanical systems knowledge.

+ Ability to present a professional appearance.

+ High-level communication skills for interaction with diverse professionals.

+ Comfortable working at heights and with ductwork.

+ Willingness to undergo full-body gowning in cleanroom settings.

+ Certification in NSF and CETA will be provided if not already obtained.

+ Preferably out of a 2-year technical college or fresh out of a 4-year program.

Work Environment

This role involves traveling to customer sites, including clean rooms and medical device and pharmaceutical facilities, to work on equipment such as Fume Hoods, Biosafety Cabinets, Medical HVAC Systems, Laminar Flows, and Autoclaves. Full-body gowning, including booties, lab coat, gloves, hair net, and beard net, is required in cleanroom settings. This is a Permanent position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
