Job Description

As a Field Service Technician, you will be on the road daily, with travel ranging from 10 minutes to 2 hours one way. Once acclimated, expect to travel overnight 50% of the time, with potential out-of-state trips requiring plane travel. You will work some weekends, with opportunities for overtime. This role is ideal for curious, mechanically-minded individuals who enjoy diagnosing issues, working independently, and managing their own schedules.

You will interact with customers, explain findings, and build trust, all while embracing change and continuously building technical expertise.

Responsibilities

* Travel 50% of the time within a 4-hour radius of your location in WI.

* Visit multiple customer sites daily to perform technical assessments and certifications.

* Scan HEPA filters, conduct particle counting, and assess pressure, temperature, and humidity in clean rooms.

* Perform certifications for clean rooms and fume hoods, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

* Troubleshoot and repair issues, such as filling holes in filters, replacing blower motors, and conducting preventive maintenance.

* Own customer relationships and document findings in Excel reports.

* Maintain a high level of professionalism and clear communication with pharmacists, biomedical engineers, and directors.

Essential Skills

* Mechanical aptitude and electromechanical skills.

* Basic math skills.

* Strong communication and presentation skills.

* Ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.

* Valid driver's license.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Degree from a 2-year technical college or a 4-year program is preferred but not required.

* Comfortable using service software, tablets, reporting tools, and measurement instruments.

* Clean room certification experience is a plus.

Work Environment

You will work in various customer sites, including clean rooms, fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, medical HVAC systems, and laminar flows. The role involves traveling and working in dynamic, fast-paced environments, with customer interactions across diverse settings. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
