Facilities Custodian

Runnings is looking for a dependable and detail‑oriented Facilities Custodian to help keep our store clean, safe, and ready for customers each day. This early morning role is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently in a fast‑paced retail environment. This position plays an important role in ensuring our store is welcoming, organized, and operating at a high standard before doors open to the community.

• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the store
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, including use of floor scrubber equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling containers

• Dust fixtures, shelves, and store surfaces
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and ready prior to opening
• Support overall store appearance and company standards

• Identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Help maintain a safe environment for customers and team members

• Reliability:
  Strong attendance and punctuality for early morning shifts
• Self‑Motivation:
  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Attention to Detail: A commitment to cleanliness and high standards
• Physical Readiness:
  Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Experience:
  
  Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is helpful, but not required

• Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays & Thursdays
• 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
