General Cleaner | 3rd Shift | Sioux Falls Regional Airport

General Cleaner – Full-Time

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Full-Time General Cleaner to join our overnight team at Sioux Falls Regional Airport. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the airport by performing general cleaning and janitorial duties.

This is a stable, full-time opportunity with room for advancement. Employees who demonstrate reliability and strong performance may have opportunities to grow into Lead, Floor Technician, or Supervisory positions.

• Clean and sanitize floors, restrooms, offices, break rooms, and public areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum assigned areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Restock restroom supplies and other cleaning materials as needed.
• Assist with floor care projects, including buffing, stripping, and waxing, as directed.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, and other high-touch areas.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals according to company procedures.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.

This position is primarily performed indoors throughout the Sioux Falls Regional Airport. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, cleaning chemicals, dust, noise, and high-traffic public areas. The position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.

All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment background check before their start date. Additional security screening may be required due to airport access. Details will be provided during the hiring process.
