Student Housing Assistant
This position will assist with light maintenance, cleaning, organization, and other day to day operations in student housing at Southeast Technical College. Must be a current Southeast Tech student living in housing. For more information regarding this position, please reach out to the hiring manager, Aaron Rowbotham, at .
Essential Functions- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs within the student housing units.
- Provide light cleaning and organization of housing common areas.
- Greet and direct residents and visitors.
- Communicate clearly and provide detailed information regarding all housing policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be a currently enrolled student at STC.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Occasionally subjected to mechanical and electrical hazards, extreme temperatures and humidity. Occasional exposure to fumes, dust, and cleaning chemicals. Moderate equipment noise at times.
