** THE ROLE
** The Set Up/Tear Down Supervisor is responsible for leading, supervising, and coordinating the day-to-day activities of employees engaged in the operations department, specifically focusing on the setup, teardown, and conversions of the facility.
** ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Operations staff assigned to event setups, teardowns, custodial services, and facility support.
* Plan, assign, and monitor work assignments to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
* Coordinate venue setups based on event orders, diagrams, and equipment requirements.
* Oversee cleaning operations before, during, and after events, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning, trash removal, and general facility upkeep.
* Enforce all company safety policies, including proper chemical handling and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) compliance.
* Ensure all equipment is operated safely, properly maintained, and stored appropriately.
* Submit maintenance work orders for repairs, damaged equipment, or facility issues.
* Collaborate with other department supervisors to ensure seamless event execution.
* Adjust staffing assignments and work priorities to meet changing operational and event demands.
* Assist with facility maintenance, snow removal, and other operational projects as assigned.
* Perform hands-on operational duties alongside team members when necessary to meet event deadlines and operational needs.
** SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
** Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
