Part Time Shop Helper - Fleet Division

The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department, Street/Fleet Division is accepting applications for a part-time Shop Helper. This position is a non-benefited position, working maximum of 28 hours per week.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning shop and car wash area
• Conducting minor repairs
• Picking up and delivering parts to mechanics
• Moving vehicles and equipment in and out of shop
• Dropping off or picking up vehicles from outside vendors
• Assist in the welding shop and assist mechanics when necessary
• Replenish washer fluid and minor custodial responsibilities

Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience.
