Household Manager Opportunity
We are a busy entrepreneurial family seeking an experienced House Manager to support multiple closely connected residences. While most of your time will be spent at one primary home, you'll also provide routine support to additional nearby properties, ensuring each residence is well maintained, thoughtfully organized, and always ready for everyday living.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety. Every week is a little different. Business travel, seasonal projects, changing priorities, and special events create an environment where flexibility, organization, and proactive thinking are essential.
Although you'll support multiple homes, this is not three separate jobs. The primary residence requires the majority of your attention, while the remaining properties receive lighter, routine support based on current needs. One home is on the same property as the primary, while the other is about 25-minutes away.
You'll join an established household support team that includes professional cleaners, landscaping vendors, and a dedicated maintenance specialist. Rather than doing everything yourself, you'll help coordinate these trusted partners while taking ownership of the home's day-to-day operations and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Above all, we're looking for someone interested in building a long-term relationship with our family—someone who genuinely enjoys creating calm, organized, welcoming homes that allow busy professionals to focus on the things that matter most.
You'll report to our Construction Manager, who believes in setting clear expectations, providing the support and resources you need, and trusting you to take ownership of your work. Rather than micromanaging, he believes in open communication, thoughtful feedback, and giving people the autonomy to do what they do best.
We'll begin with brief weekly check-ins to discuss priorities, answer questions, remove roadblocks, and ensure you're set up for success. As you become established in the role, our goal is to build a collaborative partnership founded on trust, clear communication, and continuous improvement.
You're someone who naturally notices what needs attention before anyone asks. You don't need a daily to-do list. Instead, you're observant, resourceful, and take initiative as you learn the rhythms and preferences of the household. Whether it's noticing pantry items running low, coordinating a vendor visit, reorganizing a storage area, or making sure the dogs have everything they need before supplies run out, you find satisfaction in keeping a home running effortlessly.
You enjoy taking ownership of your work and are comfortable working independently while keeping the family informed of important updates. You're proactive, dependable, and communicate clearly when priorities shift or questions arise.
You thrive in dynamic environments where priorities occasionally change, and you remain calm when plans evolve. Rather than becoming frustrated by unpredictability, you're adaptable, solutions-oriented, and able to confidently adjust as needed.
Most importantly, you're warm, trustworthy, highly organized, and genuinely enjoy creating spaces that feel calm, welcoming, and cared for.
Success in this role isn't measured by checking off a list of daily tasks—it's measured by how seamlessly the homes operate. You'll anticipate needs before they're noticed, build trusted relationships with vendors, maintain thoughtful organizational systems, and ensure every residence is consistently stocked, organized, and prepared for whatever the day brings.
If you find satisfaction in creating order behind the scenes and making life easier for others, you'll thrive in this position.
