Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas which may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area.
• These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned.
• These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, carpet extraction, furniture extraction, curtain replacement, moving furniture, trash receptacles and trash removal.
• Keeps assigned areas fully stocked, such as paper towels, toilet paper, linen, and other supplies essential for daily operations.
• Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts, linen carts, supply carts, including wet and dry supplies.

The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. • High School or GED Equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
