Essential Functions Oversee and manage all aspects of trailer maintenance service delivery.

Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure timely and efficient service.

Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to deliver exceptional service quality.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Documents and verifies additional work needed during inspection to establish refurbishment expectations.

Performs hands-on trailer maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment preparation alongside the maintenance team while providing day-to-day leadership and direction.

Helps maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shop while ensuring trailers and related equipment are maintained to company, DOT, and operational standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or

Experience:

One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment

Proven experience in trailer maintenance or a related field

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in trailer maintenance

Effective communication and customer service skills

Supervisory Responsibilities Assigns and prioritizes daily maintenance activities based on operational needs while actively participating in completing scheduled and unscheduled repairs. Provides technical guidance to maintenance technicians, monitors work quality and productivity, and ensures assigned work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Serves as a senior technical resource for complex trailer and equipment issues, assisting with diagnosis and repair rather than solely coordinating or delegating the work.
