Senior Accountant

Our client, a large and established organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This role will support core accounting functions including month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

• Support end-to-end R2R activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close.
• Identify, question, and improve existing accounting processes, with a focus on close optimization and reconciliation efficiency.
• Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams on master data accuracy, reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Support audit requests and internal controls by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Contribute to automation and analytics initiatives, including tool evaluations and process enhancements.
• Provide flexible support across accounting, including short-term internal backfill assignments and cleanup projects as business needs evolve.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with general accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel.
