A dynamic and quickly growing professional services firm in Skokie, IL is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. This position offers a salary of $50,000–$55,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental insurance, as well as generous PTO.

Responsibilities

of the Customer Service Representative
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, delivering prompt, professional, and high-quality support
  • Provide accurate information and thoughtful solutions to ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Process client requests, updates, and transactions with precision and strong attention to detail
  • Analyze customer needs and proactively identify ways to enhance service and efficiency
  • Maintain and update client records, ensuring accuracy and organization across systems
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve complex inquiries and improve overall workflows
  • Track, manage, and follow up on open items to ensure timely and complete resolution
  • Contribute to additional administrative and operational initiatives as needed
Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative
  • 1–3 years of customer service or client-facing experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional presence
  • Analytical mindset with comfort working with numbers (math or economics background preferred)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Ambitious, motivated, and eager to grow within a professional services environment
