Job Description

AAA Car Care is seeking a motivated and customer‑oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth communication between customers and our service technicians. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the repair and maintenance process while also driving sales for our auto services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction:
    Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner as they arrive for service appointments.
  • Customer Interaction:
    Listen to customers’ vehicle concerns and accurately document their needs.
  • Customer Interaction:
    Advise customers on available services, repairs, and maintenance options based on their vehicle’s condition and needs.
  • Customer Interaction:
    Provide clear explanations of repair estimates, timelines, and potential outcomes.
  • Sales & Service Recommendations:
    Present and sell AAA Car Care services, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and warranty options.
  • Sales & Service Recommendations:
    Upsell additional services and products when appropriate, based on customer needs and vehicle health.
  • Sales & Service Recommendations:
    Provide cost estimates and time frames for repairs or service packages.
  • Coordination and Follow‑up:
    Act as the liaison between the customer and the service technicians, ensuring that all requested work is accurately completed.

    Maintain communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of their vehicles.

    Ensure timely delivery of services, working closely with the technician team to meet customer expectations.

Total Compensation Overview

Service Advisors will earn a competitive salary of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, with monthly bonus potential based on performance.

Education
  • High School diploma, GED, or Technical school graduate/certification
Required Qualifications
  • Must have and maintain a valid state Driver’s License.
Experience
  • 6 months of minimum customer service experience or sales experience.

Work Environment
  • This position involves sitting, standing, walking, and normal physical mobility, including reaching, grabbing, lifting, and carrying typical office equipment (averaging up to approximately 80 pounds in weight).

  • Normal or corrected hearing to the level of ability to receive detailed information orally and to accurately understand normal conversations, both in person and on the telephone.
