Summary:
The Business Career Program Marketing concentration instructor will teach the following courses:
- Social and Sales Network Communications
- Selling Strategies and Content Marketing
- Marketing and Sales Ecosystem Management
- Customer Response Marketing
- Storytelling for Sales and Marketing
- Personal Branding for Sales and Marketing Professionals
- Global Business Perspectives
The instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering in‑class instruction with approved curriculum, including:
- Teaching up to 27.5 hours per week.
- Preparing lesson plans for each class session.
- Delivering lectures and facilitating Project‑Based Learning on various business‑related topics.
- Assisting students in the learning process.
- Evaluating and monitoring student progress through the use of various assessment tools.
- Keeping necessary records to report Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to the Academic Dean/Program Manager.
- Attending and participating in quarterly campus‑wide instructor in‑service meetings as required.
- Staying well‑informed with advancements in teaching by attending professional development activities outside of CSI.
- Organizing and leading field outings for student enrichment once per module.
- Actively contributing to program improvement through committee involvement.
- Providing support through academic advising to ensure student growth and retention.
- Performing additional tasks as needed.
Education and Experience: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration with an emphasis/concentration on marketing, advertising, public relations, or a closely related field. If the degree is not in business administration or a directly related field, candidates with at least two years of related work experience or evidence of specialized training related to the field and industry may be considered.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the instructor is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
