Algebra Bridge Program Teacher
District 69 is offering a half-day Algebra Bridge program for students entering 8th grade during Summer 2026. This year, we will be offering blocks in both the morning and afternoon. The teacher will instruct a class by teaching the essentials of algebra skills. The teacher will cooperatively work with other classroom teachers and Summer Programming staff. The teacher will be responsible for the students of the assigned class, effectively teaching the curriculum to meet individual needs of students, and evaluating student progress.

Qualifications:
Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License (PEL) with a middle school math endorsement, required Preference will be given to candidates who can commit to all sessions Ability to attend Mandatory Training dates Rate of Pay: $40 per hour Job Responsibilities Attend professional development sessions with coaches and/or CFC Commit to being in attendance for the duration of the summer program Create a welcoming environment where students feel safe to learn Communicate with families regarding student progress Obtain qualitative data that will assist in informing the program outcome measures Collaborate with colleagues regarding curriculum and instruction Support students' social and emotional development using our foundational community building structures and strategies (morning and closing meetings, advisory, etc.)
Create and organize daily lessons and sub plans (if needed), using your pre-plan and flex planning time Staffing Decisions:
