Arie Crown Hebrew Day School, a preschool through 8th-grade Orthodox Jewish day school in Skokie, IL, is seeking a talented and energetic Middle School Science Teacher to join our dynamic team!

About the Role:

As a Middle School Science Teacher at Arie Crown Hebrew Day School, you will be responsible for teaching science to our students in a dynamic and engaging way, creating a love of learning and curiosity about the natural world. You will also have the opportunity to work with our dedicated team of educators who are committed to nurturing our students academically and spiritually.

Responsibilities:

• Teach middle school science courses, adapting curriculum to meet the needs of our students

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate hands-on learning and technology

• Assess student progress and provide individualized support to ensure student success

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices

• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field

• 1 year of teaching experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
