Special Education Teacher, Middle School
Hillel Torah North Suburban Day School, located in Skokie, Illinois, is seeking a nurturing and creative Middle School Judaic Studies Resource Teacher to join our Student Services team for the school year.
The resource teacher is responsible for providing academic and executive functioning support to students in small‑group and pull‑out settings, as well as push‑in support within the classroom.
The resource teacher will work closely with grade-level lead teachers, the school social worker, school administration, and parents to meet the academic needs of students.
This is a position for a warm special education teacher with a creative, progressive, student‑centered, and academically engaging teaching style.
Qualifications- Degree in education and/or special education (Bachelors or higher)
- LBS1 certification from Illinois State Board of Education (preferred)
- Experience teaching (preferred)
