School Psychologist Intern

The School Psychologist Intern position is open to candidates who are entering the final year of a certified School Psychology preparation program, and are ready to complete their year long internship requirement. School Psychology Interns will be incorporated into all MTSS and Special Education structures and supports in their assigned building including, psychological assessments, special education evaluations and eligibility, FBA/BIP development, student problem solving, data collection and analysis.

The District provides placements in PreK, Grades K-2, Grades 3-5, and Grades 6-8. This also includes the required HS internship. There is limited grant funding to support this program. Positions will be filled on a rolling basis. Placements can be made at any of the District's buildings.

Annual salary is based on the number of days worked. A Resident Intern working a full five-day-per-week schedule for 180 work days would earn approximately $48,000 annually, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The Resident Intern position is not eligible for TRS or IMRF benefits, in accordance with TRS and IMRF guidelines. Resident Interns are eligible for up to $3,000 in tuition reimbursement.
