Overview
This is a part-time faculty position in Des Plaines/Skokie, IL. The instructor will teach Adult Education Spanish GED Language Arts (reading/writing) classes, and will prepare students to pass the Spanish GED Language Arts, Social Studies, and/or Science tests, with the goal of transitioning to college and/or career opportunities. The role involves designing and implementing educational activities using a variety of teaching strategies and creating an equitable, inclusive classroom that accommodates diverse learning styles.
Responsibilities- Teach Adult Education Spanish GED Language Arts (reading/writing) classes.
- Prepare students to pass the Spanish GED Language Arts, Social Studies, and/or Science tests.
- Design and implement educational activities using a variety of teaching strategies to help students achieve their goals.
- Provide a classroom environment that is equitable and inclusive.
