What You'll Do- Performs wellness check on residents.
- Serves meals.
- Sweeps the dining room floor after meals.
- Empties the garbage from each residential suite.
- Responds to the resident emergency pendant alarms.
- Monitors the door entry system.
- Admits and greets authorized guests, maintaining COVID-19 protocols, as necessary.
- Enters activities into the daily logbook.
- Creates orders and reviews them with the manager.
- Files documents.
- Organizes files for inspections.
- Copies and prints documents and correspondence.
- Answers the phones and responds to resident requests and concerns.
- Provides basic information about the building and takes messages.
- Plans and implements appropriate activities as assigned.
- Assists with resident activities, such as meal orders, menu feedback, and setting up of meal services.
- Maintains professional bearing in all situations.
- Assists in the coordination of volunteer programs (including scheduling, communications, and attendance).
- Assists in the coordination of the annual event that recognizes volunteers.
- May accompany residents during off-site outings.
- When assigned, prepares monthly calendar of events.
- Assists in the design of flyers.
- Meets with new residents to provide orientation relating to the building.
- Monitors inventory of supplies and equipment and orders when necessary.
- Attends meetings and in-services as necessary.
- Maintains activity hours monthly.
- Required qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
