Home Instead of Chicago, Skokie, Des Plaines is seeking a strategic Human Resources Manager to establish best practices and implement the technology infrastructure needed for our next phase of compliant, scalable growth. As our HR Manager, you will be a critical leader responsible for recruiting and maintaining a high volume of exceptional Care Professionals who work in the homes of our clients. You will build the culture that supports those who provide this life-changing care.
What You’ll Do:- Talent Strategy: Develop and execute creative recruiting strategies to meet growing client demand.
- Leadership: Hire, train and manage a team, leading them to be top performers in recruitment and retention.
- Culture Building: Plan and execute programs to foster a strong, connected workforce and increase retention.
- Compliance: Ensure we meet the highest standards of IDPH regulations and franchise excellence.
- Employee Relations: Execute a performance management system and handle employee performance counseling.
- Proven ability to supervise and hold direct reports accountable.
- Experience in Recruiting, Onboarding, Compliance and Leadership.
- Ability to organize and prioritize heavy workloads to meet deadlines.
- Degree in Human Resources and/or PHR Certification.

Our Home Instead office has been providing care to seniors throughout Chicago, Park Ridge, Des Plaines, Skokie, Evanston, Winnetka areas for 25 years. The current team is made up of experienced long term employees who truly care about the staff and the clients. Our main office is in Skokie and this is a hybrid position with work in the office 4 – 5 days per week.
