IT & Operations Specialist

Orchard Village is looking for a full Time IT & Operations Specialist.

Enhances organization-wide use of various software systems to provide for improvement and optimization of business operations.

IT & Operations Specialist Responsibilities:

• Teach and instruct end users on Microsoft Office applications and general computer use.
• Act as primary contact for technology problems by OV staff. Track and troubleshoot problems. Contact service providers as required.
• In collaboration with off-site technical support, maintain technology hardware.
• Be conversant with software in use including ADP, Abila/MIP, Therap.
• Implement and support daily office procedures such as: setting up new users, new machines, managing voice/data service to all agency locations, password resets. Maintaining inventory of equipment. Maintaining staff directories, org charts.
• Oversee print/copy stations, ensuring machines are functioning properly and are serviced on a timely basis.
• Manage voice and data service. Manage cell phones and similar devices along with relationship with service providers.
• Provide support to program, development and business office staff as needed.
• Handle procurement of IT supplies at competitive pricing.
• Travel to offsite locations as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality with client and staff information and data.
• Exhibit initiative, critical thinking and patience.
• Work cooperatively with others to promote positive work flow.

IT & Operations Specialist

Qualifications:

• Two years related experience. Power-user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel, Power Point) and Windows.
• Working knowledge of Access and Visio.
• Ability to train staff and willingness to provide assistance.
• Good communication skills including the ability to receive oral and written instruction and provide information to vendors and employees.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
