Overview

Shift: 1st shift starts at 6:00am / 2nd shift starts at 2:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $60,000 – $70,000 annually

Job Summary

The Welder will operate TIG & MIG welding machines, including power up, cleaning, and finish welding on various parts while maintaining cleanliness. The Welder is expected to meet productivity and quality requirements while performing welds according to specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on various components
  • Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding specifications, and symbols
  • Inspect work pieces and ensure conformance to specifications
  • Set up, align, and secure parts prior to welding
  • Monitor welding process to prevent distortion or defects
  • Follow quality standards including ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5S)
  • Complete required documentation and production work within time frames
  • Report non-conforming materials to supervisor
Machinery / Equipment Used
  • TIG welding equipment
  • MIG welding equipment
  • Hand and power tools
  • Measuring instruments (calipers, rulers, straightedges)
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2–3 years of MIG and TIG welding experience
  • Experience welding materials such as stainless steel and carbon steel
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
  • Ability to operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Ability to weld in multiple positions (flat, vertical, overhead)
  • Understanding of welding equipment and accessories
