We are seeking Level 1 and Level 2 Machinists to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in setting up and operating multiple CNC Lathe machines, primarily focusing on lathes with minimal use of mills. These positions require individuals who can perform first-piece and final-piece inspections and have experience with Fanuc controls. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate multiple CNC Lathe machines, primarily focusing on lathes.
• Perform 1-3 set-ups per day.
• Conduct first-piece and final-piece inspections.
• Utilize Fanuc controls effectively.
• Possess production or job shop experience.

Essential

Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of CNC experience, particularly with lathes.
• Proficiency in set-up experience, handling at least 2-3 set-ups per day.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.
• Knowledge and experience with micrometers and calipers.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• Experience with mills.
• Programming experience.
• Familiarity with G-code.

Work Environment:

The work environment includes operating Okuma and other CNC machines, primarily focusing on lathes and mills. There might be training on the first shift depending on the level. Additional safety gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, and earplugs is provided. The machine shop is clean and consists of approximately 20 CNC machines spread across two separate buildings.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
