Salary Range $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Second Shift Category Manufacturing

This Position is responsible for the 3 operations in the chocolate Panning process which consist in operate an automatic panning/polishing machine and pack the finish product. The automatic panning machine equipment consist in covers with coatings nuts and fruits with a percentage of chocolate depend in the production recipe and customer requirements, then the product gets transferred to a polishing unit which shines the panned product prior to be packed.

There are 2 associates reporting to this position (Packer, Helper). Operator is responsible to maintain all aspects of production runs during their shift, including shift end. Meet production standards and submit all shifts documents with accurate and detail information.

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

• Standing on a concrete floor.
• Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, latex gloves, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform).
• Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Required to work weekends during peak season.
• Required to work mandatory weekends and or overtime when needed.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft AX, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be well-organized with high attention to detail.
• Ability to successfully prioritize workload.
• The ability to perform basic math skills.
• The ability to perform basic reading skills, such as: reading labels, formulas, and directions.
• Knowledge of measurement, percentages, and ratios.
• The ability to communicate and write effectively in English.
• Flexible working hours for a seven day operation.
• Dependable and adaptable to a fast pace work environment.
