Clinical Nurse Manager – Pain Management - Location:
Skokie Hospital with travel to Swedish Hospital and offsites as needed - Full time
- Hours:
7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday
The Clinical Nurse Manager has 24‑hour accountability for the professional nursing practice, development and education of staff, performance improvement initiatives, fiscal and human resource management of the department, and adherence to regulatory compliance. The role promotes a patient‑centered environment and oversees daily operations of pain‑management clinicians and office staff across multiple sites, including the Swedish Integrated Pain Center (procedures) and Swedish Pain Clinic.
The manager also co‑manages the inpatient Pain Service with a Lead APP and Division Chief.
- BSN required
- MSN preferred
- Illinois RN license
- CPR / BLS certified through AHA
- Minimum 3 years in an appropriate clinical setting
- Prior management experience preferred
- Problem‑solving abilities
- Effective communication
- Competency in caring for all patient age groups specific to specialty
- Unit/specialty specific competencies
