Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Staff Nurse Pool, Med/Surg

Skokie Hospital, Skokie IL

Full Time – 36 hours/week; 12‑hour nights
Shift: 1900 – 0730; standard weekday with weekend rotation.

Float to all medical‑surgical units at Skokie Hospital.

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL (required)
• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing (required); BSN strongly preferred
• BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider (required)
• Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience (required)

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on med‑surg units across Glenbrook Hospital based on areas of greatest need.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
