As an Assistant Store Manager at Sephora, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, ensuring client service excellence, and driving sales. You will lead a team of associates, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and development.

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure a smooth and efficient client experience.
• Help develop and implement strategies to drive store sales and increase profitability.
• Assist in coordinating sales, profitability, performance, service, and operations.
• Assist in leading, coaching, and motivating a team of associates to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Conduct performance appraisals, manage employee development, and provide ongoing feedback.
• Support the leadership team to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of store goals.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through excellent service, handle complaints, and provide solutions.
• Support client loyalty programs and services to ensure client loyalty and engagement.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Uphold Sephora brand excellence in‑store, maintaining a consistent client experience.
• Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.
• Support resource allocation and staffing to ensure optimal productivity and performance.

• Proven experience as a retail assistant manager.
• 3–5 years of experience managing high‑volume, complex retail or hospitality environments.
• Strong leadership skills and business acumen.
• Client management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to attract, identify, and inspire employees.
• Flexible availability to work a retail schedule.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to stock shelves, stand/walk sales floor for the entire shift, and work in a fragrance‑filled environment.
• Adherence to Sephora’s dress code and policies in the Employee Handbook.

Annual base salary range: $67,600.00 – $78,660.00 (actual base salary based on qualifications, experience, location, etc.).
