HVAC Maintenance Worker II

Aramark is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Worker II for overnight shifts at Skokie Hospital. In this role, you will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, monitoring building automation systems, responding to service calls, and documenting all work. You'll collaborate with facilities and clinical staff, follow strict safety and infection-control standards, and support energy-efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems and components
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility mechanical equipment
• Monitor and adjust building automation systems for comfort and efficiency
• Respond to urgent HVAC service calls during overnight shifts
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues and implement repairs
• Follow all safety, infection-control, and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts, and maintenance logs
• Coordinate with facilities, nursing, and hospital staff to minimize disruption
• Support energy-efficiency and reliability initiatives
• Assist with on-call rotation and other facilities tasks as assigned
