This is a full‑time, on‑site Service Technician role. The Service Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including inspections, cleaning, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components, and completing repairs in accordance with safety standards and company procedures. The role involves working in the field at customer locations, responding to service calls, and documenting all work performed using company tools and systems.
The Service Technician communicates clearly with customers, explains findings and recommended solutions, and represents the company in a professional and respectful manner.
- Strong Maintenance & Repair skills, including experience performing routine and preventive Maintenance on commercial HVAC or related mechanical systems, such as RTUs, Chillers, Boilers, pumps, ect.
- Demonstrated ability in Troubleshooting system issues and resolving technical problems in the field.
- Experience in Field Service work, including traveling to customer sites and working independently or with a team on service calls.
- Solid Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Basic knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical components, and safety practices; EPA certification.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, service manuals, and work orders, and to keep accurate service records.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to meet physical requirements of the job (such as lifting equipment and working in varied environments).
- Prior experience as a commercial HVAC technician, maintenance technician, or similar role is preferred; relevant vocational training or technical certification is beneficial.
