Position

Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Maintenance Technician at Heritage Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. Full‑time position, including every other weekend and holiday.

Hours:

9 AM - 5 PM or 10 AM - 6 PM (weekends 7 AM - 3 PM). Same‑day pay. Pay range: $18–$25 per hour, all‑inclusive.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repair work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend system longevity.
  • Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable building codes and regulations.
  • Utilize basic computer systems (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, or similar platforms) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and communicate updates.
  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades.
  • HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet‑based systems.
  • Strong knowledge of building equipment, building systems, and applicable building codes.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
