Position: Good Handling and Facility Maintenance
** Facility Maintenance / Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift*
* ** Position Summary*
* We are seeking a reliable and experienced Facility Maintenance / Warehouse Associate to join our team in Smyrna, GA. This role combines warehouse operations with facility maintenance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, and general building maintenance, including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting repairs.

This position is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, managing warehouse inventory, and maintaining the physical structure and functionality of the facility.

** Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

** Pay Rate:**  $18.00 per hour

** Warehouse Operations*
* + Pick, pack, and ship mission-critical service parts to B2B customers using barcode technology.

+ Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory and replenishment purchase orders.

+ Manage warehouse storage locations utilizing warehouse management systems and barcode technology.

+ Coordinate TL/LTL shipment pickups and deliveries.

+ Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

+ Receive, process, and distribute incoming parcels and packages.

+ Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.

+ Manage inventory of shipping and receiving supplies.

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.

+ Communicate effectively with internal and external customers via email, chat platforms, and verbal communication.

** Facility Maintenance*
* + Inspect buildings and facility systems to identify maintenance needs and repair requirements.

+ Perform minor electrical repairs, including replacement of switches, outlets, bulbs, ballasts, sockets, and related fixtures.

+ Perform minor plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing hoses and fixtures.

+ Complete minor carpentry, painting, and masonry projects.

+ Reconfigure office spaces, furniture, storage systems, and workstations as needed.

+ Remove trash and maintain facility cleanliness.

+ Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections.

+ Perform monthly facility safety inspections.

+ Utilize hand tools, power tools, dollies, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.

** Qualifications & Experience Required*
* + Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or logistics experience.

+ Experience using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.

+ Hands-on facility maintenance experience required.

+ Working knowledge of:

+ Minor electrical repairs

+ Basic plumbing repairs

+ Carpentry

+ Painting

+ General building maintenance

+ Ability to lift, move, and transport materials safely.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

** Pay Details:**  $18.00 per hour
