Under the direction of the Maintenance/Custodial Supervisor and Building Administrator, this position is responsible for providing a variety of services relating to the upkeep of buildings and grounds, including daily cleaning of operations and transportation facilities, maintenance of exterior secondary athletic areas, district courier support, snow and ice removal, and facility set‑up/take‑down for school and community events.

• Daily cleaning of operations and transportation facilities.
• Responsible for exterior secondary athletic areas including Memorial Stadium, Snohomish, and Glacier Peak High Schools.
• Back up district courier as needed.
• District‑wide snow and ice removal as needed.
• Facility set‑up/take‑down for school and community events and/or facility use.

$30.92 – $35.02 per hour (2025-26 Snohomish School District Public School Employees Salary Schedule)

8.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Except on Fridays from September through November, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. during football season; 12 months/year.

• One (1) year of experience or training in custodial or related fields (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license; must meet district vehicle driver qualifications.
• Valid First Aid/CPR with AED certificate.
• Bloodborne Pathogen Training (provided at hire).
• Successful completion of a physical ability evaluation upon job offer.
