Facilities Engineer

Overview

Club at Snoqualmie Ridge is seeking an Engineer to maintain the entire facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.

Pay range: $16.66/hr - $30.00/hr

• Conduct walk-throughs and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the facility, including all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Verify completion of routine maintenance in public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back-of-house spaces, and grounds.
• Verify completion of repairs, replacement, and renovation projects in all areas.
• Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs.
• Provide special training for other operating departments on safe and efficient use of equipment and energy.
• Perform necessary repairs and maintenance; actively train in fire prevention, environmental health and safety, and engineering systems.
• Attend meetings regarding hotel operations (department, fire, safety, health and quality improvement) and participate in morning walk-arounds as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of fitness equipment and facilities; ensure a pleasant guest experience and effective guest relations.
• Assist with special projects as delegated by management; stay updated on developments pertinent to the department and location.

  Experience:
  
  Demonstrated outstanding customer service; willingness to learn and perform new engineering programs; excellent communication and organizational skills; attention to detail; drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule; evenings and weekend work required.

  Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals; ability to read and interpret retail product labeling; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
• Reasoning Ability:
  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions; handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
