Janitor​/Custodian

Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge. We're looking for a Part-Time (pick your own schedule) Janitor/
Custodian to join our team in Soldotna/Kenai, Alaska.

As our Janitor/
Custodian , you are responsible for routine cleaning and limited general maintenance of Hope administrative , and community buildings and residential locations as directed. Routine cleaning includes but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, window washing, and cleaning/sanitizing bathrooms/toilets . General maintenance includes but is not limited to changing fire detector batteries and light bulbs, maintaining salt in water softeners, and spreading sand/ice melt on walkways.

This is a
flexible
part-time position with 15 hours/weekly.
Pick your schedule! Position requires driver’s license and vehicle. Applicants must have ability to operate cleaning equipment, use cleaning chemicals, climb ladders, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

Janitorial cleaning skills and driving capability are required.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience in janitorial or similar work experience strongly preferred.
