Building Maintenance - Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM - Pay Rate: $25.00
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility
We value the safety of our associates! The Building Mechanic keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings and ensuring it meets industry standards and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks.
Building Maintenance Worker Duties- Assists in the proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of all buildings, materials and systems at the distribution plant/designated building.
- Inspects various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to, air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment and sprinkler systems; record data from inspections.
- Inspects all equipment and repair or replace as necessary to avoid down time.
- Inspects, lubricates and cleans condensers and evaporators.
- Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations. Performs daily safety checks.
- Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
- Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Associate degree in areas Electrical Mechanical Diagnostics, Service and/or Repair.
- 2+years preferred experience of electrical- mechanical- and hydraulic equipment i.e.: control panels- PLC's- conveyor shaft- motor and bearing replacement- etc. in a warehouse environment
