Delivery Technician

Position Summary

The Delivery Technician's position will be responsible for the transport and delivery of any and all lottery equipment to the various site locations within the State of Ohio. This position will also complete service calls at a lottery retail location as assigned.

• Delivery and installation of company equipment to customer sites.
• Lead a team on special projects and events.
• Support field technicians during and after equipment installation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including inventory, shipping, and forklift operation.
• Provide oral and written communication with field technicians regarding diagnostics or repairs.
• Perform maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired products, and inventory tracking.
• Assist in development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Train new and existing team members.
• Create presentations and reports concerning bench and equipment activities, issues, and performance.
• Support high‑profile issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.

Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge

• Understanding of and experience with troubleshooting computer software and hardware technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Promptly respond to customer and leadership requests and feedback.
• Proven self‑starter with motivation and ability.
• Organization and time‑management skills that enable effective multitasking.
• Strong judgment and problem‑solving skills to determine the most cost‑effective repair/resolution.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings as needed.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Able to travel overnight if required.
• Ability to lift, install and move large self‑service equipment (regularly lift or move 35 pounds or more).
• Pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record.
• Regular travel to customer locations for on‑site work.
• Ability to drive a non‑CDL delivery truck.
• Pass background check, DOT certification and drug test.
