• Somerwoods Rehabilitation and Care Center, Somerset, Kentucky

• Perform routine and comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean environment in accordance with health regulations.
• Inspect floors for cleanliness and condition, taking corrective action when needed.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for the repair and upkeep of flooring.
• Assist in setting up for events and rearranging furniture as required.
• Respond promptly to any spillages or areas requiring immediate attention.

• Proven experience as a Floor Technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Familiarity with floor care equipment and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and mobility.
