Position: Temporary Custodian / Maintenance Assistant, Seasonal/ Part-Time (10-25 hours per week; total number of hours varies upon district needs)

Location: Districtwide

Availability: July - August 2026

Hourly Rate: The hourly range for this position is $23.18-$26.55 per hour. Placement on the salary guide is as per the SEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Benefits: This is a part-time position and therefore does not have access to benefits.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of plant operations; cleaning methods and procedures, proper handling of hazardous materials, and ability to troubleshoot and repair cleaning equipment.
• Capable of moving heavy objects such as desks, tables, and file cabinets. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to read, write, follow written and verbal instructions, and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship, legal resident alien status, or authorization to work in the U.S.
• Valid New Jersey standard driver's license is preferred.
