Auction Yard Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Auction Yard Operator, where your contributions ensure a seamless and successful auction experience. You'll play a vital role in receiving, processing, and preparing consigned equipment for sale. Deliver exceptional customer service and be a critical part of our operations!

• Receive and release consigned equipment, ensuring accurate check-in and check-out processes.
• Utilize auction listings to strategically line up equipment for display prior to auction events.
• Drive and operate various heavy and light equipment as needed.
• Conduct facility inspections and perform housekeeping or maintenance services as required.
• Handle basic maintenance on RBA owned equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Manage equipment keys effectively.
• Use a forklift to load and unload stationary row equipment safely.
• Boost machinery as necessary.
• Assist with basic assembly of equipment components, such as dozer blades.
• Check and maintain fluid and fuel levels in equipment.
• Assign lot numbers to equipment for identification.
• Set out auction signage, flagging, and trash receptacles to create a welcoming environment.
• Operate sound trucks for auction announcements.
• Assist in signage for items up for sale.
• Coordinate placement of operators in rolling stock efficiently.
• Park sold equipment appropriately on the ramp.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth auction operations.
