Job Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor manages a team of maintenance employees with different disciplines.
A Day In The LifeEvery day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:
- Coordinating schedules and workflow for the team who repairs and conducts preventative maintenance activities throughout the facility.
- Supervising day-to-day work of maintenance employees.
- Leading Maintenance personnel in reactive, predictive & preventive maintenance and machine repair.
- Managing vendor relationships for trash removal, grounds, power, janitorial, water/sewer, HVAC, and other related contracts as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators for tracking and reporting the performance of the maintenance function.
- Actively participating in lean and continuous improvement activities related to the facility including utilization of predictive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance methodologies.
- Managing inventory of spare parts, supplies and materials required for effective maintenance and improvement of the facility, equipment, and tooling.
- Participating in planning meetings, recommending space, personnel, and equipment requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience (required)
- 3-6 years of leadership experience preferred
- Experience managing outside service contractors
- Strong working knowledge of relevant systems and software
