Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
A Tech B conducts, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic components.
Shift- 1st Shift
: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday‑Friday
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components.
- Analyze issues down to the component level.
- Maintain efficiency and timeliness in completing repair orders and projects.
- Read schematic diagrams.
- Comply with quality performance standards.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow warehouse safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on the business the warehouse supports.
- Pass a Technical Aptitude Test when applicable.
- Solid understanding of various technology systems and applications, including electronic circuit componentry and theory.
- Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and voltmeters.
- Skilled in soldering and desoldering techniques, capable of both surface‑mount and through‑hole techniques.
- Analytical thinking and strong problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot down to the component level.
- Experience handling hard drive devices and adhering to ESD policy standards.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
- Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units.
- Previous technical experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capability to train and assist users in effective technology utilization.
- Eagerness for continuous learning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of a 2‑year electronics degree, equivalent electronics certification, or equivalent work experience.
- Warehouse environment.
- Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
- Standing and walking for extended periods when necessary.
- Bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching in a continuous or repetitive capacity when necessary.
