A Day In The Life
Follow all instructions and safety rules, including use of all PPE and safety equipment.
General building maintenance, preventive maintenance on machinery, plumbing (air and water), and electrical work.
Use problem‑solving skills to identify and repair production line issues; work overtime as required; assist co‑workers in areas outside their direct responsibility.
Job OverviewThe Maintenance Crafts performs a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the plant and the machinery operating.

- Maintain the building as directed.
- Install and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Work on machine parts when necessary (e.g., lathe, bridgeport).
- Troubleshoot line issues and monitor logistics for potential problems.
- Repair electrical problems on the building and production lines.
- Fabricate guards, chutes, and other parts as needed (sheet metal and 80/20 experience is a plus).
