Maintenance Assistant - Full-Time

Join our family-oriented team at The Palmettos of Bluffton! We're looking for a reliable Maintenance Assistant to help keep our community safe, clean, and well-maintained. HVAC or maintenance experience is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and scheduled upkeep
• Grounds care: mowing, planting, watering, weeding, and mulching
• Painting, carpet cleaning, and custodial duties
• Lift and move heavy furniture/equipment; run errands as needed
• Inspect property and equipment for safety compliance
• Coordinate work with other departments and be on call for emergencies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or technical school graduate
• Ability to read manuals, follow safety regulations, and use basic computer skills
• Maintenance experience preferred but not required
• Team player with strong work ethic
