We are seeking two General Maintenance Technicians who are motivated to help individuals and families navigate life's challenges and achieve long-term wellness.

Under general supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Manager, this is a multi-skilled position that performs building maintenance of a nonspecific trade skill. The work performed will be primarily preventive, occasional routine tasks, and emergent requests as assigned.
- Electrical work including, but not limited to:
Preventive maintenance, switches, outlets, bulbs, ballast and wiring. - Plumbing including but not limited to:
Preventative maintenance, toilet repair, disposal repair and waterlines. - HVAC work including but not limited to:
Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, changing filters, replacing belts, changing fuses and capacitors, cleaning drain lines and using our energy management system. - Light carpentry work including but not limited to:
Drywall, painting, and door repair. - Locksmith work including but not limited to:
Making keys, working on all types of doors including door closers, checking lock and key functions, troubleshooting locks and keeping a log of keys made. - Performs other related duties as required.
This position is eligible for an on-call premium of $1.50 per hour, plus compensation for any time called back to work.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Trades experience that is directly related to the area of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of safety practices relevant to the area of employment. Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials and supplies used in the designated trade. Knowledge of techniques, methods and practices used in the designated trade. Skill in the use of various trade tools and equipment. Ability to comprehend blueprints, plans and specifications. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to perform heavy manual labor.
Ability to perform arithmetic. Ability to communicate effectively.
